This sounds like a terrible idea to me, then again I am told I am a homophobic, so maybe that`s it.
I did not know that I was a homophobic or that I hated my father.
Hmm. Don’t they already cover for the blood donors of contaminated blood? Now this was 7 years ago, but I suspect they still do it.
They said it’s so an employer doesn’t know whether you have allowed or contaminated blood. I guess some employers expect everyone to donate blood. They draw the blood from everyone and mark all the packages in such a way that they know the good from the bad, afterwards. But none of your co-workers or bosses know.
Can’t they do this with the HIV questionable blood drawn?
What’s to prevent a person who has chosen a homosexual lifestyle from just lying? I imagine legal consequences keep away some liars.
I am curious if blood banks can turn away homosexuals on their own initiative and what procedures they could have in place to detect liars.
If blood banks have legal authority to make their own decisions, I see a business opportunity.
