Iran demands for Russia to deliver its S-300 missile system as part of 2007 contract entered to by both countries despite sanctions imposed by the Western countries and the UN Security Council. Russia had illegally breached their contract following pressure from Israel and the United States, Iran's Defence Minister Hossein Dehqan said.
Dehqan said the contract with Russia was signed before the sanctions were imposed, hence Iran will continue to insist for Russia to supply them with S-300 missile system. He said Russia had cancelled the contract under the guise of the sanctions imposed against both Iran and Russia but he believed Russia was pressured by both Israel and the U.S. not to pursue with the missile system deal, Mehr News reported as cited by Trend.

Russia, like China, (and for the last six years, like the USA) does not have a government whose purpose is to protect their citizens. Individuals with enough money and contacts can sell whatever they like to whomever they like. Nobody in their right nationalistic mind would sell war technology to Muslims who publically wish you dead or enslaved. But individuals with access consider themselves unaffected by whatever happens to the great masses of people in their country. They can go anywhere and live like kings.
For the US it was Bernie Schwartz trading missile technology for free space launches. Clinton approved the sale. I imagine it works the same way as in Russia, except I suspect Putin gets a bigger cut.
Most of the Putinistas not only hate Obama but they also hate the USA. I’m all for opposing Obama, but I love my country and want us to be free, just, and successful.
