It doesn't mattered what Holder was or was not doing at the time. Bush was president, Condi was Secretary of State, and Bandar wanted the Saudi terrorists back. The 2008 election was on the horizon, and so they obliged the Saudis, thinking that they were killing two birds with one stone.
It was the exact same kind of thinking that got Hamas elected in Gaza, and Musharraf tossed out in Pakistan. All disasters, and they were Bush and Condi's fault.

Actually, it always matters what Holder and the terror apologists like the ACLU are doing. They work thru the legal system and as we know the legal system (as with the gay marriage issue) does the most damage in cases like this.
I've yet to see a link from you showing that Bush, Cheney and Condi were working to get these terrorists released.
