The SPLC is an elaborate tax scam. Morris Dees is paying Ebony Howard peanuts as she provides red meat content for the direct mail empire that keeps him rolling in dough.

I wonder how long it is going to be before blacks are simply allowed to commit crimes.

And further, when a black commits a crime, a random white man will be arrested for it, charged and sentenced to do the time for the crime that the black man committed.

Our society has gone completely frickin’ insane.

I hope you are having discussions with your daughter about the power teachers have to affect her grade.

Yes, we talk about that quite often. My daughter did not write what I said back to her teacher, and I knew she wouldn't. But she got the point.

I have been countering the lefty indoctrination of the school system since she was in kindergarten. Now that she is a teenager, she's not shy about arguing back to me when she disagrees.

But at least she has a very healthy skepticism and good radar about the lefty propaganda they try to foist on her at school.

Her school system is a "Common Core" adopter.

Regarding that incident, the precedent set in SPLC vs Metzger should have been used against the SPLC.

I commented at the family gathering yesterday that 'white privilege' might turn to 'white anger' someday soon, if the race-baiters and s*it-stirrers keep agitating.

"They are predisposed to be criminals... It's a lesson that's been taught in Birmingham, Alabama, where police officers stationed in the schools. The students... aren't engaging in criminal behavior, but typical teenage misbehavior: yelling, throwing temper tantrums and getting into school yard fights. These are all things that at one time simply resulted in a trip to the principal's office. Today, Birmingham school officials say such behavior is criminal. They say the pepper spray is the only recourse these officers, also known as school resource officers, have at their disposal. So they discipline these students with a chemical weapon used on violent criminals."

Ms. Howard would have made a good point here if race were removed from the argument. Today's feminized government schools and their police "resource officers" do treat children like criminals, and they do criminalize everyday juvenile misbehavior -- especially male juvenile misbehavior. If such an oppressive system had been in place decades ago, most of my junior high school friends and I would have had criminal records instead of paddlings and extra class work that shaped us into better young men. And we were good kids in gifted classes.

That said, I completely reject Ms. Howard's argument that black kids are singled out among the government school inmates because of their race. It is their exceptionally aggressive, disrespectful and violent behavior which brings increased disciplinary attention and punishment. Schools reflect the parentage of their students, so Ms. Howard might look first at the terrible state of today's black families whose feral children populate the most troubled government schools.

Well sure, black lives matter. In places like Ferguson, apparently only white people believe that.

I need a rubber stamp made so I don’t have to keep typing:
If they want to matter, they should get educations and jobs. And stop murdering one another.

The suspensions are to preserve order and help the kids who want to learn. The kids being suspended are disruptive and are destroying the learning environment. Our first duty is to the kids that want to learn. Otherwise you drag everyone down to the level of the losers being suspended.

That is absolutely right, but not widely understood in today's self centered culture.

What a Crock! How about some parenting and discipline at home so the little darlings know how to behave and let’s see what happens.

What would be acceptable to the SPLC? Maybe that the black kids get to run wild and the other kids can’t learn because of it? I guess that would work, right?

I don’t know.

It seems to me that there be be few whites of that mind set.

It appears that many are very submissive and even more are on the side of the black lives matter nonsense and are actively marching over this.

Surely there are some who are angered, such as myself, but I do not know many people like me.

"The answer can be found in our nation's long history of criminalizing youth of color - particularly African-American boys."

There's one of the biggest lies in the article.

They become criminals, as the law was there before they were even born.

Let’s move of these misunderstood black youths to the fancy addresses in NYC, and then we should let them write an article after a week of living with them.

I know that if my children have a grade drop because of their principles, I'll let them know that it should be a badge of honor.

No, teachers do NOT have the power of life and death over my kids. It's not like they're trying to get into Harvard (a semiliterate Community College disguised as a "University"). My son's conservative and has a 3.6. My daughters are both honor roll HS students and are also Conservative.

As the victim of a black sucker-punch when I was 13 in Ithaca, NY to getting knocked off a downtown Columbus, OH sidewalk by two black thugs looking for a fight to blacks threatening my wife and me in Palo Alto, CA to a black shakedown for money with the slightly veiled threat of violence if we didn’t pay (Palo Alto #2) to a disgusting black homo proposition on a Saturday morning in Cleveland, OH, I say the SPLC is full of sh!t. Black men in a group greater than zero in urban settings simply cannot be trusted. I’ve never experienced this with whites, Asians, Hispanics or any other group. So you’ll pardon me for being wary.

That seems to be the current argument: affirmative action isn't enough, they need an exemption from the law.

After all, Mexicans are getting a big exemption from a lot of laws: immigration, business licensing, car insurance, taxes, etc..

Not to mention the corrupt business elite that hires them, obtains fraudulent H1B visas, sells fraudulent mortgage backed securities and then gets a bailout, bribes foreign officials with "partnership" corporations for outsourcing production, etc.

You can also toss in the criminality of the Obama regime using the IRS and other agencies against its political opponents, etc.

In the current atmosphere of utter lawlessness, Why shouldn't blacks get an exemption too?
