You want to find the worst crime area in any major city? Find “MLK” Blvd/Ave and take it.
The apartments are close to the University of North Texas, a 35,000 student university, with the apartments catering to students. That being said, it is clear that this apartment was targeted, as it is off the main road, in a residential area. Not one that would be selected at random with quick exit.
I would bet it was drug related. Just because a kid goes to college doesn’t make him any less a thug. It is not unusual for some college athlete to be arrested for theft, robbery, etc.
I would not argue with that.
