God help us.
So who made her in charge of what is offensive and sexist?
Good grief. Grow some balls. Oh, wait ..
There are inappropriate comments online, but it is not the Army’s job to stop that outside the workplace. On the flip side, it’s a good lesson for those soldiers - not the “SHARP” diversity training horse manure, but the lesson not to post anything online under your real name if you are anywhere that the liberal thugs can get to you.
I'll bet that is some motivating training.
I'll bet that is some motivating training.
So she got online to make soldiers get their mind right in their personal opinions off duty, but the article never tells what opinions that she assigned for them, versus the ones of their own.
“”Dr. Christine Altendorf, the SHARP director, brought Moerk’s email to the attention of Lt. Gen. Howard Bromberg, then the Army’s deputy chief of staff for personnel. Shortly thereafter, the Army launched three administrative investigations, because Soldiers from three separate major commands were involved, either through producing the video or making inappropriate comments.
“Everyone was kind of pulled to the carpet and called in, and training changed,” the first sergeant said.
For her willingness to stand up and defend Army values, Moerk received an Army Commendation Medal from Lt. Gen. James C. McConville””

Political Officers Make A Comeback
**”December 24, 2014: China has ordered political officers to fly missions on AWACS and other large aircraft with large (over half a dozen people) crews. These aircraft carry out crucial missions in modern warfare and China is using more and more of them. The Chinese Communist Party wants the crews on these aircraft monitored in action to assure their performance and loyalty.
The Chinese long ago borrowed the concept of the political officer from the Soviet Union. The political officer represents the Communist Party and has the authority to overrule any order a military officer gives. In reality, the political officer usually acts as a combined morale and special events officer. The political officers are primarily responsible for preventing anything happening in their unit that would embarrass the party.”**
Some idea of the offensive content, and what made it offensive, would be in order. We are asked to accept the fact of the offense, without any information.
No first amendment rights for you.
To give folks here not in-the-know a frame of reference, most of my Infantry Soldiers received an ARCOM for a 15-month combat tour in Iraq during the height of the insanity over there.
Look who WE gots..!!!
RANGER ALL THE WAY, MAN..!!!! WHO-AHH..!!!!
I would agree with the comments thus far if the actions were by a private female citizen against another private citizen, male or female.
However, this is Army business relating to both a senior NCO and subordinates. There is NO ‘off-work’ room for such BS by soldiers of any branch.
Comments thus far are egregiously misplaced.
There are severe problems with our military leadership and priorities; I don’t believe this article writes of anything remotely of concern
This affirmative action trollop should receive a reprimand for goofing off on the computer.
According to this interesting post “she was offended by a clip produced by some Soldiers that depicted a new troop in the barracks being shown around by two Soldiers, who stop in front of what is ostensibly a females room and refer to her as ‘Suzie Rottencrotch’ the barracks ho.”

Lifetime REMF...Probably wrote the commendation for herself
Sorry, we just have ourselves to ‘blame’.
We (me included) basically stood by and watch the transformation of the Military and its Mission and ‘filling of the ranks’.
I think a lot of us figured “let them have their fun now, when the SHTF the REAL Soldiers will stand up and save us from ourselves”
Problem is that between being ‘driven’ out for no more than NOT accepting this malarky and not being able to recruit the ‘virile’ youth that had held the Military together, ALSO because of this hostility that has been created.
Remember, a lot of us that Voluntarily Enlisted - before the draft ended - did so as a matter of ‘duty’ and ‘honor’ and because it was the ‘right thing to do’.
I joined at 17 to more or less get it ‘over with’ prior to being drafted in a couple of years. Also, the prevailing attitude was ‘it was the right thing to do’.
Of all of Clintons Fractured comparisons, His ‘Yes, I am a ‘draft dodger’ BUT so were thousands who enlisted to ‘avoid the draft’....
NOT a quote but a generalized comment he supposedly made, while in a sense very true BUT definitely the ‘bottom line’ was taken out of context.
Another of his great lines was “I was NEVER alone with Miss Lewinski in the White House...there was always a guard or something somewhere in the building.....
LET ME BORROW A PAGE FROM THE LIBS..
Although possibly not true that WJC mouthed the above statement(s), he would or could have had he thought about it.
This is the same US military that did NOT take action when Nidal Hassan was making Islamist death threats in public and elsewhere.
It would “harm” the diversity of our military and THAT was deemed to be a bigger tragedy than the loss of over a dozen lives.
Before you go blaming our Armed Forces for any of this crap, just remember they are all under the thumb of civilians, courtesy of our US Constitution.
Tickles me to see many freepers claim our military would never turn on us in a civil war....1861-65 apparently escapes them
You can always find folks in uniform to do the bidding of those in power
That is a lesson repeated over and over since Sargon the Great
