I once had an econ prof from Harvard who told me they’d totaled up all the funds spend in the War on Poverty and it was enough to buy EVERY acre of farmland in the USA and every stock of every company listed on the Dow-Jones.
And if he was a lib he was probably bitching about how we hadn’t spent enough.
About $22 Trillion, isn’t it?
