If you plan on traveling to Greece or perhaps the Euro Zone as well perhaps delay your travel plans until after the Greek election because your dollars might go much farther. The Leftist party Syriza is leading the polling and they claim they will force the Europeans, i.e. the Germans, to blink and drop their austerity program for Greece. If Syriza wins they are going to play a game of chicken with the Euros.

As Larry Kudlow said an hour ago on CNBC, Greece peaked around 450 BC.

In other words, whatever happens there in a political and/or economic sense, it is unlikely to have much of an impact elsewhere.

The austerity measures were imposed as a condition of the huge financial bailouts Greece has received.

So.

Now that they have the money, they will double-cross everyone.

Tell me how this is different than theft?
