I'm a lifetime donor. I lost count at 50+ donations years ago, and kept giving. Universal Donor, and highly sought when the need arise. However, I am now closing down shop and will only donate specifically for people I know who are in need of blood. This politically-correct stupidity by this administration has now undone all I sought to do, which was to provide life-sustaining, untainted blood to anyone who needed it. Now, it is useless. I see this as the gay community contaminating the blood supply with HIV and infecting as many of us as possible in order to make some freakish "political statement". I also see this totally coming from this administrations pro-gay stance and condemn them for making me make this choice.

Damn them all!!!

I have B negative blood and the ARC gets to foot stamping if I don't show up. I get two or three calls from the Bloodmobile folks and at least one from the K of C where the blood drive is usually held.

I have a couple dozen Red Cross Tee shirts, an ARC baseball hat and some other free stuff.

Somehow, they lost track of the donations made while living in Minnesota for 16 years...

Please thank you for not totally giving up on donating. Donated blood gets used in the event of an unplanned serious accident.
