The conservative wing of the republican party are weak chums, voices without bite. We lost so many battles I weep. I don’t know what to say other than I don’t think there are enough of us to make a real difference. Deficits (who cares), Amnesty (who cares), social welfare (who cares), secure our border (who cares), Boehner elected speakers (who cares, another defeat), etc... we lost because we are weak.

Jeb would be a worse pick than Romney, (and that’s saying something!)

I am not voting for Jeb if he’s nominated. I don’t care who his VP selection is (even if it’s Cruz), and I don’t care what the doomsayers scream about Hillary.

Palin should announce now that she will run as a 3rd Party candidate in the event any of Jeb, Mitt or Crispy Creme are nominated. And she should do it, too. She could not win, but she could spoil.

I have no doubt the Bush family would put Jeb out there to take one for the progressive “team” to allow their good ol’ pals the Clinton’s back into the WH.

The Bush family needs to GO AWAY

We lost a few house seats and state senate and house seats because several conservative candidates ran against each other...we need a mini convention where those invited are by invitation and only one man or ticket comes out standing ...this being agreed to by all invited...then those who were not selected help that ticket beat Bush and a whichever weasels run against them. If we get more than one constitutional conservative in the primary then Bush or Romney or whoever wins.

I would stay home. No difference between Hillary and Jeb.

Truth is that I wouldn’t stay home. I just won’t vote for a dem or a repub.

If Jeb is the nom and faces HRC, the Democrat wins. If Jeb is the nom and faces anybody at all, the Democrat wins. If Jeb is the obvious nom the Democrats may feel emboldened to put up a genuine Stalinist, not just an analogue. I believe that, Jeb or no, this past election is the last one of any significance and the significance is that it demonstrated overtly that elections to national office no longer have any significance.

he is on the wrong side of several critical issues

He is on the wrong side of the one issue that trumps all the others. That is the problem of the wetbacks. Actually he probably will have no impact on that issue. Boehner and McConnell, with the Sultan, will ensure that sufficient millions are voters before the next two years are up to emplace a Fascist/Communist/Moslem state for the foreseeable future.

I know an awful of friends that say to me that if Bush is the nominee they will NOT be voting.

I'm not interested in Bush as a candidate. If I voted I would write-in someone other than Bush.

I’ve held my nose for two presidential elections now. I won’t do it again.

Folks...seriously, it’s time for a Tea Party....or a revolution.

“Which one would be head of the ticket?”

Bingo. This one smells to high heaven. I’ve thought since McCain’s turn in the ring that Democrats are running the Republican Party. It’s the special interest money controlling these events, and when the nation falls to the ignorant hordes the privileged few will retire to their private estates in the Bahamas or Switzerland.

Or maybe they are setting us up for another Romney run, betting we will welcome him as an alternative.

Realistically, if the GOP Congress fails to stop Obama in the next year, it will splitter apart. The nominee battle will showcase that.
