Interesting question as to the British Royal succession; if (shudder) Queen Elizabeth and the Princes Charles and William and Harry were to all to suddenly die, all at the same time, that would make Prince George next in line for the throne, but George being a mere toddler obviously could not assume the throne due to his age. I suppose in that case Andrew would, but then wouldnt he be in that position temporarily as "The Lord Protector" and in regency until George reached the age of majority? And if Andrew was deemed unfit, would not the regency fall to his eldest daughter, the Princess Beatrice of York, she of the very silly hats?

The first of the royals for whom the females fall in line consistent with their order of birth has yet to be born.
In your hypothetical, were Andrew unfit to shepherd the young king, it would likely fall next to Edward, the forgotten prince...

Everyone is forgetting Princess Ann, the succession was changed IIRC in case George was a girl. Ann would be ahead of Andrew in the line for the throne and could be appointed Regent if the infant George suddenly became King. Andrew is now way down the list.
