Going back a ways, this forum knew how to respond to that problem and it's a code that I live by, myself. In fact I was raised this way.

I had not heard that term before.
Just about a month ago I gave my place in line to a person who was clearly military personnel. No way I was going to have a man such as him wait in line behind me. Didn’t feel right.
