Gowdy is a brilliant prosecutor. He doesn’t seem to be interested in taking leadership as a conservative. He seems to be playing the insiders game and moving up with the blessings of the ‘system’.

There are too many in Congress that ‘play the insider’s game’; and they can go full RINO at the drop of a hat.

Boehner lied to the Caucus. It was not an innocent lie or a ‘mistake’ or well-intentioned flub. It was a lie designed to deceive. It caused harm to Conservatives that voted based on reliance of his good faith. He caused harm to reputations.

Now he intends to fund Obama’s massive Executive Amnesty by burying it inside a fake ‘Border Security Bill’. This is not a fantasy or conspiracy; it is documented with evidence.

And yet Gowdy will not come out against Boehner.

Gowdy cannot claim later that there was no other choice. There are two fine choices, Gohmert and Yoho.

My view is that Gowdy is and will be a follower of power but not a power in and of himself. And if the power manifests itself in a President Cruz, then Gowdy will be singing the praises of all things conservative.

He’s a fair weather friend I believe.
