This effect is known as the “digital cliff”. The modern television signal continues until it drops completely off. Beyond the “cliff” point the tuner/fishbone will get nothing.

So much for “free tv”.

Which one gets you the live tv? We have the Roku already. Can you stream live with PlayOn? I haven’t tried that or Plex (yet).

Yes, PlayOn has a lot of scripts for live TV. We mainly use Plex for Music, but it has a large variety of plugins as well.
