My SIL was there, 2 floors down, when it all went down. He is a Nurse Practitioner in the Psy ward. He has been worried that something like this would happen, as he did not think security measures were tough enough, anyway, They were hustled into a conference room and barricaded the door. He did not know the Dr. that was killed but use to walk by his office frequently. We were so glad to see him when he finally got home tonight. He has a hard job seeing so many unstable people!

my appreciation for the report and am glad your Sister-In-Law is okay. Have read reports of there was another victim other than the doctor but have found no confirmation (lately) of there being another victim shot by the shooter. Prayers there is not another victim that was shot by the shooter.

Thanks, no problem. He was pretty shaken when he got back. He couldn’t believe seeing so many doors busted in as they left. He said they thought they saw someone else with the shooter. It was all pretty intense. It started about 4pm. I got a call from my daughter who was freeking out as he was able to text her to tell what was going on!

Did you SIL give a description of the shooter and the person who was reportedly with him? We’d like to know what they look like.

The shooter was a former employee, who had threatened the Doctor two years ago. There were no others involved. After the shooting he tried to bust into some rooms but they were already locked. Then he went down to the third floor saw the cops running toward him, he ran around a corner and into a restroom and shot himself!
