John Boehner is getting revenge.

He secured his third term as speaker Tuesday afternoon, losing 25 votes on the House floor to three relatively unknown members of the House Republican Conference. But he’s already punishing those who betrayed him.

First up: Florida Reps. Daniel Webster and Richard Nugent. The pair will be booted from their spots on the House Rules Committee, according to sources familiar with the decision. Webster ran against Boehner (R-Ohio) for speaker Tuesday, and Nugent supported his fellow Floridian.

The Rules Committee is a panel appointed by the speaker, and it controls the flow of legislation to the House floor. It’s a prestigious appointment for members who are loyal to leadership.

Vengeful POS. He and Jarrett have a lot in common.

And the ballet dancer, too.

The Oligarchy now ruling us are beyond tyrannical. They are now going to go full Night of the Long Knives on any and all Conservatives nationwide.

Conservatives are going to discover we have been rendered politically irrelevant by the cabal/Mob that is now in power.

What follows is the kind of horrors that always follow other fundamentally transformed societies taken over by Marxists/Fascists.

They understood it would happen going in.

Give them credit for doing a principled vote anyway.

The EXEMPT GOP regards as their ENEMY — only conservatives.

al Qaeda - the EXEMPT GOP will arm them, and even defend
the Benghazi transfer

IRS - the EXEMPT GOP enables them.

Obama - every treasonous act has been encouraged and
enabled.

voters - far beneath the EXEMPT GOP are the People
who onl exist to SERVE the EXEMPT GOP
with human organs and taxes.

Time for those guys to quit the D.O.P.E. party.

I call them the D.O.P.E. party, for the acronym Democrat’s Other Party Establishment.

Wondering if it would be good idea to call for a mass re-registration of republicans to another party affiliation. Having a few million registrations drop off their rolls would send a message. A late one, but one nonetheless.

“Disagree without being disagreeable.”

To Boehner that means a reassuring hand on your opponent’s shoulder as you shove the knife between his ribs and a friendly smile as you give it an extra twist.

Give them credit for doing a principled vote anyway.

ABSOLUTELY.

Yet there are pundits and lackeys who are chortling that doing so was 'stupid' because "if you cannot take out the king, you do not attempt it'.

Sad commentary from some folks who need a deeper lesson on our own Founding when they went up against the King, without ever thinking they would succeed - but embraced their own deaths - IN ADVANCE.

Principles and liberty were worth the risk back then.

Apparently not so much today - as some lackeys and talk show hosts would lecture us.

I don’t think all of them will get kicked off.

King wont get kicked off the ag committee. King can call his big ag, big wind and big ethanol friends to contribute to Boehner’s primary challenger.

Latham actually blamed Cantor over the farm bill not passing in 2012.

King wants a few peanuts for the ethanol industry but Boehner wants trillions for amnesty.

Bridenstine I think will stay on the armed services committee.

Now that right there is funny. Thanks for the laugh. At least we have a sense of humor. I enjoyed called Sensenbrenner’s office.

I’ll call a few more, too.

The last time a Speaker was nearly ousted was back in the 1920s, I believe. The members did that because the Speaker had become too powerful and abusive. He conceded on all of the issues his membership desired after a few rounds of balloting.

But those were different times. Today it seems most of the House enjoys serving under a mentally unstable alcoholic who is in all likelihood being blackmailed by the left to do their bidding.

My applause to the 28 who dissented today. They may not have plumb assignments but have the respect of true Americans and their constituents. The rest? I have no words that would not violate the standards of decency on FR.
