Boehner takes revenge (Foes find themselves losing plum committee posts.)

John Boehner is getting revenge.

He secured his third term as speaker Tuesday afternoon, losing 25 votes on the House floor to three relatively unknown members of the House Republican Conference. But he’s already punishing those who betrayed him.

First up: Florida Reps. Daniel Webster and Richard Nugent. The pair will be booted from their spots on the House Rules Committee, according to sources familiar with the decision. Webster ran against Boehner (R-Ohio) for speaker Tuesday, and Nugent supported his fellow Floridian.

The Rules Committee is a panel appointed by the speaker, and it controls the flow of legislation to the House floor. It’s a prestigious appointment for members who are loyal to leadership.

During CSPAN live coverage, they showed the vote total against Boehner at 28.

Apparently, 3 grabbed their rears, handed them to Boehner, and begged for forgiveness for their inadvertant error in initially voting for someone else.

As Mark Levin said on his radio program: Where were all of the supposed conservatives who run from one news program to another telling everyone how conservative they are? Levin even called out a few of the more vocal ones who voted for Boehner and the status quo.

Wondering if it would be good idea to call for a mass re-registration of republicans to another party affiliation. Having a few million registrations drop off their rolls would send a message.

It would mean no conservative opposition to RINO nominees. They'd send you a "thank you" note.

And to think that people actually thought that Ratpubs had no b*lls! Oh, they had a lot of b*alls, and they pushed the base over and punished them. And people actually thought that they were opposition to the commie in office when all along, their was no opposition.

These people are only in it for the money and power. Look at these azzhats portfolios and tell me that they are anything else but for themselves. These people who are getting away with this should be punished, not elected. If these people would of done this to the American people some 200 years ago they would be hanging in town squares, in there districts! The only people that are in anyways against them is the average voter, tax payer. We've been played the fools once again.

Oh, and the up coming Jobs bills, etc. Expect a payoff to all there cronies.

I’m not knowledgeable of these “Speaker” politics. What can we do to help the situation? Hound the heck out of all those who voted the a**hole back in? What?

The so called conservatives, like Blackburn, Gowdy and many others left these brave congressmen out to hang.

The frauds got exposed today.

No amount of coming “show votes” will give them back credibility(apparently
they had nothing to offer but show, anyway)

Funny you should mention that. I called my Rep here in Indiana who purports to be a conservative but voted for the Weeper. I told them that I’m dropping my decades old Republican registration. I’ll likely register Independent.

As an aside, one of the Reps from Indiana voted against Boehnor. Marlin Stutzman. He’ll be getting a call tomorrow thanking him for standing on principle and listening to his constituents.

Of those who opposed Boner, I’d form my own “caucus”.

Heck, if these is a black caucus, there certainly can be a conservative caucus.

Then vote in a block for leverage on issues where principles matter.

If I was rich I’d hire the best private investigators in the world to dig up what Obama has on boner. Sadly, all the rich guys own congress.

Make no mistake...

Boehner is an enemy of the conservative movement.

Now think about this... Only 25 Republicans voted against him who is forcing the Obama Anti-Constition agenda down our throats. This is even though they had their biggest lost at the ballot box 2 months ago.

Consider this Boehner and the Republican party giving Conservatives, the election and the U.S. Constitution the Middle finger.

I will NEVER vote Republican again.

Done! Stick a fork in them! They are finished!

No thanks.

We need to re-take our party from within, if we split it, Obama/Warren win.
