Just one of the reasons the shooter is an idiot. Shooting wildly, by definition, while driving a car in pursuit down a busy highway?
He’s very lucky indeed he didn’t hit an innocent bystander or driver.
Even cops rarely do the “shoot our the tires” bit nowadays. And for good reason.

A $3000 repair bill on an Escalade doesn’t seem that outrageous. The wife drives one.

The Mythbusters are right, but with the windows down, two strong guys can handle anything the driver can throw at them.
A friend and I used to play that game, and no one ever threw us off, not at any speed or maneuvering, and some guys would really get wild with their efforts, especially on the freeway and the grassy hills at the overpasses and switching to feeder streets.
