Over the last year, Apple, Google and other big technology companies have faced mounting criticism by civil rights leaders about the lack of diversity in their work forces, which are populated mostly by white and Asian men.

Now Intel, the giant chip maker, is taking more concrete steps to do something about it.

Jesse Jackson went around Silicon Valley shaking tress and big fat golden apples came cascading down from the branches.

300 Million Dollars?

Wow, that’ll buy an awful lot of colored people to be trained to live and work in the Silicon Valley.

What. 300 at least.

Translation: $300 million less for educated folks with measurable IQs capable of producing things people want.

$300 million more for folks who can do nothing except go into politics, and that field is already got far more felons than we need, so let’s start polluting technical companies.

Really, could one imagine Intel hiring anyone in the West Wing (including Dorkbama) for any other position except janitor?

I long for the day when a company tells the politically correct bottom dwellers to shove their silly little ideas up their collective Obamaholes.

They’ll pay $300M to totally unqualified people to sit around all day, not touch anything, and not eff anything up.

These people certainly aren’t qualified to design the next generation of chips.

I work in high tech in SV and we have LOTS of women and minorities (n some departments, there are hardly any white men). Just not the race hustler approved kind.

When can I pick up some chipsets that are 100% Transgender Manufactured? I mean this is CRITICAL for the machines I am building.

At least it will fund Jackson’s “Rainbow Coalition” for another couple years.

Once again, my friend (I wish) Booker T. nails it ...

No greater injury can be done to any youth than to let him feel that because he belongs to this or that race he will be advanced in life regardless of his own merits or efforts.

I should have majored in Diversity Studies except it didn’t exist when I was at school and I’m the wrong pigment, sexual preference, religion, etc.

I am over diversity, I like success. I told my HR person that the other day when she was going over our process to interview prospects. She frowned when I said, “does the company want me to hire less qualified people on purpose? Can I get a confirmation from the stakeholders?”

To fact I am anti-diversity, this country was a much more productive and better place when we were relatively homogeneous (from an American stand point, not race).

Sharpton will get....uh...3.5 million in consulting fees.

Throughout world history, “diversity” has been nothing but destructive.

My cousin is an EE and works for a large electric power generation and distribution company in the east. She was telling my pop about this mandatory diversity training she had to go through ran by a Tranny... Costing the shareholders a LOT of money. Of course these costs are passed on to the consumers... who are mostly NOT mentally defective.

And this on, of course, applies directly to Fat Al $harpton and Je$$eJacka$$ :

“There is another class of coloured people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs — partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs.”

One lab in my company is populated almost exclusively by hispanic and oriental women. They build and populate prototype circuit boards.

Same here and I am a white woman. Work Ethics is a dirty word. I dont know how business survive. Most of the women around me are in the throws of so much drama it makes ME tired. Rememeber keeping personal stuff at home?

OK off subject I am just complaining but it is true. I have been getting up at 5am for the past 26 years to get here, not always fond of the work, but good work ethics dictate I give it my all.

I am a freak. LOL

Happy New Year Freepers!

Booker T would definitely not have needed affirmative action. Smart, wise and honest man.
