New Jersey Governor Chris Christies (R) administration is proposing more gun control in the form of security requirements for firearm retailers, wholesalers, manufacturersand employees of the samein the state.
The proposals originated with the State Police and are the result of several thefts and lapses in oversight
that led to at least one death during the past 10 years.

This is what GOP freepers help empower with their continued support of the party..
Well, there goes "Chuby's" '16 shot at the white hut.
one death in 10 years.
Now that is what I perceive as a real call to action.
Jerry’s Id uhhh Kid.
He’s the sizzle in the pan
Jerry will ride him to the end.
Yeee & Haaaaa!!
I'd say that this is an outstanding safety achievment! Considering the volume of business, the number of transactions over ten years, the the gun dealers have a better safety record than most any other industry, including construction, processing, machining, etc.
Get lost Chrispy Creme.
The reason for this and as seen in this video Governor Christie is there to pick the pockets of the owner and company. Notice the right hand slipping around to find his wallet.
One death in ten years is a pretty lame excuse for new laws. Seems to me this might be part of a bigger plan, like raking in donations from the anti-gun crowd.
As a side note, I never could understand what Ann Coulter saw in Christie. She lost my respect and following by endorsing him.
...”the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed...”
we will NEVER vote for Christie!
My Gosh. It's an uncontrolled bullet-fueled bloodbath going on in Joisey!
On the other hand, probably more kids have been killed falling out of shopping carts in Newark in that time period.
No matter. It's the demagoguery, er, thought that counts!
If Crispy Crème is so anxious to take away our gun rights what else is he anxious to take away (besides our money)?
Don,t block the bridges. How about better laws on that issue?
During the St. Augustine demonstrations back in the 60s I slept behind the counter of a friend’s gun shop. He lived upstairs, had little kids he wanted close to him. I had a really nice model 97 Winchester trench gun, bayonet and all the other goodies, and my trusty 1911 straight grip. All most security systems can do is done too late. Another friend shot a thug just after he came through the door. He had an apartment in the rear of the shop.
I thought that krispy had the lap band surgery, he is still a BUFF.
He won’t be featured on any lapband infomercials, that’s for sure.
Saw him on the Dallas game.
The nickname NJFatboy certainly still applies.
One death in ten years? That means that the sales of millions of firearms are collectively as dangerous as a ride with Teddy Kennedy.
Please, do not denigrate our B52s.
he is big, ugly, fat...The B52's are beautiful.
Re Ann...true that. Just don’t get it.
