Before there was Sheila Jackson Lee, there was Mickey Leland, a Congressman so clownish he made SJL look like Margaret Thatcher. After he was killed in a plane crash while visiting his fellow Africans over in Africa, one Houston airport was renamed Mickey Leland International. I connected there once, it might as well have been in Mogadishu.

The only anomaly in having a ranting 200 pound lesbian like Anise Porker as mayor of Houston is that she is not a ranting 200 pound black lesbian.

This issue has not yet been addressed by Sheila Jackson Lee.

And the reason"why" is given in the Bible.

God has a cure for homosexuals.

So there will be a new mayor come 206.

The blacks from New Orleans got busy killing each other off as soon as they got to Houston. I doubt if many of them ever voted. The center of Houston consists of gays, rich liberals and blacks and that part of Houston has voted liberal for a long time. Apparently they can out vote the rest of us. I am always surprised by it. Actually it was Terminal D at the Houston Intercontinential Airport that was named
the Mickey Leland Terminal. True the City Council entertained the idea but
didn’t name the entire airport as such.

At the time our flight was connecting from Atlanta to Cancun so maybe we were in the international concourse the whole time while waiting.

The words “Mickey Leland International” were in big letters on the concourse walls. Terminal D also went by another name which I won’t mention but included the word “International”.
