If its your belief that YOU are God, that God - some supreme being out there responsible for creation and for the creation of the human race - doesn’t exist, then what good is an oath?
The oath taken (in ones mind) to either God or gaia or the great lesbo earth mother, is not so much that, you will be punished by a deity (at least in your lifetime), but the humans who made you take the oath under penalty of incarceration or disbarment from your job.
Oaths are way too pedestrian...especially to non believers. It’s the fear of earth bound penalty that those people will fear the most. Think Nixon and his planned pardon by his VP.
