One of the funniest things was on the show 'Sanford and Son'. Two cops would come by the house. White cop and black cop. White cop would speak very formally, using a lot of copspeak, and then Fred and Lamont would look at the black cop for an interpretation. Went something like this:
White cop: The subject in question is a male perpetrator of the Caucasian persuasion.
Fred and Lamont look at the black cop with puzzled faces.
Black cop: He's a white dude.
