They want to keep as much power centralized in Washington D. C. as possible, that’s why. The states should be taking care of their own roads, and charging state taxes as needed to do so. We would get off cheaper and have better roads.
The federal tax should be abolished and state taxes raised as necessary.
I assumed lower fuel prices would open door to tax increase on fuel.
Money Line and Common Sense... Too Bad the GOP has NONE! “Well, if the GOP is serious about being a party of limited government and low taxes, it shouldn’t raise gasoline taxes; it should cut spending”
Look, even Inhofe supports a higher gas tax. This is one of those brain-dead issues like the minimum-wage that Republicans should be hitting out of the park. Instead, they accept the Left's premise on everything and help advance their agenda.
Yep, most politicians of both parties just can't resist those tax increases, especially when they can say "look how much everyone is saving because of cheaper energy."
Because they aren’t the party of limited government.
They are the party that claims they want to limit government in order to get elected.
the war on conservatives by the rinos/gop-e is ongoing and continuing.
when they stop stealing gas taxes for bike lanes and hiking trails I will shut up.
2016 May be another throw the bums out election.
Yeah! How well has that worked so far?
These hypocritical jackasses are beyond belief! Will the legislative wizards lower the fed tax when the Saud accomplishes what it set out to do and crude settles back in at $120/bbl?????
Just want to know who the Rep/Dem libs are for it!!
Why don’t just use the current gas tax revenue for roads and bridges?
He’s very conservative doncha know. MSNBC says so.
Absolutely! Of course they couldn’t steal it then.
Uh, Uh. BECAUSE THEY ARE STUPID! They are led by a Bonehead and a Kentucky Colonel.
Need I say more?
Not good for we conservatives,
Great for RINO’s and RATs
#6: Sasparilla: If you want to become famous in a covert way, rewrite your statement as follows and sign it Yogi Berra: “It’s the status quo all over again”
(Original Yogism was “It’s deja’ vue all over again”. Still being quoted 60 years later.
Everybody that is 35 or older has no excuse not understanding that oil is the lifeblood of this economy.
As the sale of gallons of gas rises, this nations revenue increases exponentialy.
Who are these asshats that claim revenue is down?
