Can’t say I’ve heard of it, and I’ve spent more than 1/4 of my life here.
Best of luck none the less.
Until I see Jim’s post on this one, I think I will wait.
Both Patton and Washington are deceased. How could they have approved anything now?
The title of the article (very similar, but less detailed than this one) below says Jim’s approved it.

He wanted my approval to organize a protest and I said he didn’t need approval, just go for it. Our members have a long history of organizing chapters, groups and protests.

So the entire scope of FRAN is limited to just amnesty issues?
BTTT
Hope you do better, and by the looks of your graphics you seem to have a good start. Also, I suggest you not center your efforts on "illegal immigration". Think CONSTITUTIONAL RESTORATION in general. VetsCor laid the foundation and was successful for a time. Your talents seem to be what we could have used at the time...
thanks for your comments ...
you’re correct, FRAN will not focus on any given issue, but be flexible according to the political landscape ...
we’re in the processs of setting-up a Facebook group for each of the fifty states ...
one such FB group “Free Republic Action Network - Florida” has already been set-up (as a beta version) ...
FRAN participation will request only one hour “per month” from the 25 team members ...
that’s right, one hour a “month” ...
I hope that encourages folks to get involved ...
again, thanks for your comments and the other valuable suggestion received so far from Free Republic ...
.
take a look at the “temporary” FRAN webpage ...

Rev-E of the “Organization” document will be posted next week ... any suggestions are appreciated ...

Think Facebook could be an asset...didn't exist for FAN or VetsCor.
Suggestions? Let me think about it. I need to get this ole mind working again...haha. Until then, think Constitutional principles and American values and don't weight too heavily on any given issue. Keep it lite and fun (which we didn't do) ,but informative.
Also, look at the VetsCor page on Free Republic for ideas about your mission statement. It was raw, but may give you some ideas.
Bona fides:
1. Been at Free Republic since 1997;
2. Was the main coordinator for the "March For Justice". The first FR sponsored event and the first real life Internet rally. Had many names attend that you would recognize;
3. Founded the Freeper Action Network;
4. Co-founded VetsCor. Wrote much of the mission statement and worked with the graphic artist for our logo. I later became Chairman. Also, wrote and distributed the newsletter;
5. Attended many FR events and traveled for VetsCor to set up displays;
6. Was a street activist, bullhorn included.
7. Corresponded with Senator Inhofe to keep the ChiComs from taking over the closed Long Beach Naval Station. We won that one by forcing Clinton to sign legislation;
8. Was a Minuteman activist and worked with the founder, Jim Gilcrist. Went to Tombstone to support their efforts;
9. 11 years Navy (75-86) and then owned/operated 3 small companies.
Let me know if I can help in some small way. Feel free to Freepmail me. If you want my help, I will give you my personal e-mail address and my home phone number. You have a good start...
Forgot to mention: Your “call to arms” is well written.
Sheesh, he was simply using them as examples, as in if they were here now to found our Republic and defend it. He’s trying. What have you done lately to restore our Republic?
