Explains exactly the mindset of folks willing to vote for what they abhor!
Did you read the original question? Really, did you? A choice between two awful candidates was posed and I picked the one I thought marginally less repulsive.
I understand you can’t read but can you understand this at all? It wasn’t a question of who is the best candidate. It was a question of which of two, and only two, would be the less awful. Why is this hard to understand?
The goal would be that in future elections one of the major parties would become a third party.
Would it be better to vote third party or write Cruz in if he isn’t nominated?
Cruz 2016
You not only lost but forced the loss on the rest of America.
Sanctimonious selfrhghteousness got us obama
Finney’s fault
Yea 400 posts and 5 days in, we ALWAYS stay on the original question, Snowflake.
I give up. You are immune to information and unwilling to admit your error.
The answer is that you are coming from a false place when you regard either one of them as "less awful." They are both equally awful and you are proposing another loser's game, you are setting yourself up to gamble on a sucker's bet.
The answer is: "It's a very stupid question, like "which black dress do you like better -- this yellow one, here, or that pink one over there? Which one is the best black dress?"
The answer is: "It's a ridiculous question."
{^) Talk about a classic example of projection!!! {^)
You gave up when you chose willingly to support conservatives over RINO/Leftists. The problem is yours, not mine.
Hey Finny
Did you take your ball home yet?
“...don’t tell me you’re not voting to move the party left...”
-
OK
I won’t tell you that.
“...I refused to vote for Romney in 2012
because I knew that if he won,
I’d be accountable for the harm he did...”
-
Obama and the Democrat party thank you for that.
“...you came here in order to spew personal insults...”
-
Did you start this by posting to me or
did I start this by posting to you?
I know the answer.
So we’re starting the “candidate wars” early this time?
Should make for a lot of hate and discontent on FR for a while. In the meantime, lots of energy and time that could be devoted to more pressing matters is lost.
It’s also a good tactic in splitting FR into factions vs. being a united and cohesive group of like minded folks.
Who would you vote for...?
If Cruz or a like-minded limited government conservative is rejected by the Republican primaries for the 2016 Presidential race, I'm thinking now that if a write-in for Cruz is legally valid and there is no charismatic Independent candidate with the potential to at least bring a plurality as Perot did, I'd write-in Cruz.
But from what I understand, in some states a write-in will invalidate the ballot. So to play it safe, I like to vote for officially on-the-ballot candidates because the vote will be COUNTED for sure and go into the column of Americans who rejected BOTH leftist jerks, R and D.
My goal now is to use my vote as best I can to reduce the mandate of leftists. Whether or not a third party will be needed or if starving leftist Republicans of votes while voting FOR limited government Republicans will suffice to help conservatives reclaim the Republican party and oust the leftist "Republican" moderates, is beyond my ken. I have a duty to vote and will vote the most strategic way I can to weaken leftism in BOTH parties. I calculate that the best way to do that is to vote so that leftists in either party lose.
You not only lost but forced the loss on the rest of America.Sanctimonious self righteousness got us Obama
Finneys fault
But if Romney had won and was iron-fisting all the same tyranny as he very certainly WOULD be doing and weakening conservative tea party Republicans while he was at it, if I blamed bert for it ...
... ?? Eh, bert? Whose fault would it be then? And WHY? Sanctimonious self righteousness or pure pig-headed stupidity? I don't even know the answer to that one! It's beside the point in any case.
If what I vote for wins, I will be accountable for it. So I will only vote for what I want to win.
You will vote for what I want to lose. Why are we both in the same political party?
Obama and the Democrat party thank you for that.

As I said in my first response, I like Walker a lot but a few other good people seem to be interested.
