The entire Times Square area becomes a pen. Streets are cordoned off and once you are in, you are in till after midnight because if you leave you are not getting back in.
Did it once. Will never do it again. And I lived in the city at the time.

GOOD. Give ‘em what they ask for. The bad neighborhoods they complain about are bound to improve. Turn it into another democRAT stronghold.
Additionally the police department is not supposed to be a source of revenue, they are supposed to keep public safe. Who changed their job description. I would challenge if ever crazy enough to take that job.
Wonder what was the amount of programmed revenue expected by Comrade Mayor from the New Year celebration. 10 -25 million dollars expected revenue? Going to have to drop his semi-black son from the free lunch program?
