Sounds to me they had an astonishingly peaceful New Years celebration. Mind you if I lived a block off Times Square, I wouldn’t go downstairs, such mobs are just not my thing.
Undoubtably a few celebrants pissed in a corner, maybe even had a flask of ethanol. SO WHAT!? If no ruckus was raised, no one was injured, SO WHAT?
I am also glad it was not a terrorist target. Me, come midnight I was in my recliner with my beverage of choice watching a good movie instead of trying to count idiots in Time Square.
The crowd us strictly enforced. Once you arrive, you are placed in a pen. You cannot leave that pen for the rest of the night ... Think adult diapers. You cannot drink alcohol. You cannot wander around and come back.
People say it,s the worst. Do it once, but never again.
