It has been my contention since 1967 that the Israelis should have pushed the arabs into Jordan and Egypt or the Mediterranean and incorporated Judea and Samaria and Gaza into Israel proper. Had it been done in 67 when it was eminently doable most of this crap with the "Palestinians" would not have happened. Jordan would either have become Palestine or the displaced Judaean and Samarian arabs would have been converted to dead and refugees further east. Egypt would have tried to use its contingent against Israel for propaganda until they became more trouble than it were worth and then Egypt would have utterly neutralized them.
It could have been done in '72 but would have taken more guff from the West then. It could be done now but it would have to be fast and brutal to get it done before Obama has time to invade Israel.

Anyway, I hope the left-wing portion of French Jews just stay in France and do not come to the US and become big Demorat supporters. The thinking branch of their populace might well consider escaping with the writing on the wall the way it looks.
