Would it make a difference if America was served up an establishment Republican president?

(The more things change, the more they stay the same.)

It’s ECO-PROFITEERING.
I think that term accurately represents the “Eco” movement.

Every time I use that term when arguing with leftists, they shudder with fear that I nailed it right on the head. Usually they storm off and refuse to debate. So much for “dialog”. It puts them in their place quickly.

Buffet only needs a few more years to recoup his investment in BNSF and will sell the company at a huge profit.

I expect this in the next year or so.

Then, Obama will approve the Keystone XL.

The only grass Obama walks on is at a golf course or spilled on the carpet.

IS OBAMA AGAINST THE KEYSTONE PIPELINE BECAUSE HE LOVES THE ENVIRONMENT?

Obama loves Obama.

Boy can freepers help me here...

Someone uncovered a pipeline from Canada that feed Chicago and I think their is a small refinery in southern IL. and it essentially allows that region to have somewhat cheaper fuel. I am not sure if Buffet has his hands in this.

Does anyone remember this, or am I way off here?

Obama is against anything that’s good for the Unites States and he support everything that’s bad for us.

History has shown this.If only the blind would see.

I think the blame of Buffet due to owning the BNSF is a little overblown, he may be opposed for other reasons, but BNSF is a common carrier, thus carries any and everything. Building the pipeline will reduce the number of cars of oil, but I have heard that there is at least seasonally a shortage of transport out of that area for grain. BNSF was profitable before the boom from Bakken, will be profitable after the building of a pipeline.

While I have no doubt dome of this is true, the claim that the cost is $30 a barrel to transport by rail seems way too high.

If the rail gets $30/bbl then Buffett will make zero today. At $50 oil no one can pump for sub $20/bbl. The math on this is way off.

There is one of many reasons obama is against Keystone, it is good for the economy, he wants the economy destroyed, it is hanging on despite his efforts, but now he has full control with ODR party behind him (Obama’s Dino Rino) Party established officially on 1/6/15!

The Dino Rino Party will put on a good show of battle designed for public consumption and like the WWE the winners have already been determined, the losers will always be “We The People” known as the bad guys in this grand smoking mirrors dog and pony show.

Nope. He’s against it because the GOP is for it.

The existing pipeline runs to Illinois to fund the Chicago Mob.

He doesn’t want the new route which would bypass his money launderers.

No. This insane maniac used the pipeline as an issue to appease his communist empire, the communists Democrats, and is to childlike to admit he was wrong. This maniac is beyond reason.

Obama is not for the environment. He clearly demonstrated this during the Gulf Coast oil spill. He has shown none of the eagerness for protecting environment that he has shown for the his agenda such as amnesty that will cause immense damage to this country.

BS. All Berkshire Hathaway would do is sell shares of the railroad and buy shares of the pipe line. He’ll make the same money.
