On Sunday's broadcast of ABC's This Week Democratic strategist and Clinton confidant James Carville predicted not only will Mitt Romney enter the presidential race, but that he will campaign as the "conservative alternative" to Jeb Bush.

"Of course he's going to get in and he's going to run against Bush from the right," Carville said on the panel portion of This Week. "I think he has a strategy that he didn't have before. And his strategy is he's the conservative alternative."

It is a matter of perspective.

Carville thinks the Clintons are conservative and that Obama is a moderate.

That will be like Trotski challenging Marx from the right.

There are no liberals in a liberal’s world.

There are only moderates, conservatives, right wing conservatives, far right wing conservatives, and radical far right wing conservatives.

Isn’t Jeb Bush more conservative than MA governor, and signer of Mittcare, Mitt Romney?

Well, Certainly Romneyism IS an alternative to Conservatism. Maybe that is what snakehead CarVILE meant.

FLASHBACK to BIshop RomneyCARE imposing RomneyCARE.

Carville(D):
"It's a feel-good story, this Romney thing.
Romney is an ascendant guy
."

Sen. John Kerry (D) to Don Imus on RomneyCARE:
"I like this health care bill".

Sen. Hillary Clinton (D) on RomneyCARE:
"To come up with a bipartisan plan in this polarized environment is commendable."

But I will hold my nose again to vote against a hillary or a warren.

I'm not.

If any of these filthy RINOs are nominated, I am staying home completely. I'm not even voting down-ticket.

Has Carville totally lost it?

Romney is the classic Massachusetts liberal.

This is the Dem talking point of the day. Telling LIV voters how “conservative” Boehner and now Romney are. There was a planted yahoo story a couple days ago about how conservative Boehner is. This is 100% Dem astroturf. Notice how the Dems stay coordinated and on offense. OTOH, the GOPp can only be bothered to attack conservatives.

They know their contest isn’t really a contest, but a coronation.

So they get to pass the time by taking pot-shots, stirring the sh*t, and even voting in the GOP’s open primary states. Their goal is to goad the GOP into having a long, drawn-out contest that is costly and embittering/divisive, ending with a mushy moderate nominee who’s gimped for the general election.

True. You can see it coming, but there’s also the possibility the bottom falls out completely of the gop and it collapses. I’m not a pubbie nor have not been for years. It may take a large national rejection of the party this time around, I encourage people to drop out now and register as indies where it does not impact their ability to vote in primaries.

Leftists like Snakehead would LOVE Romney/Gruber-Care to be the GOP nominee again.

The Chamber of Commerce wanted rom/hill/zerocare no matter what, and knew they’d get it with McLettuce, Mittens in 08 and 12.

What they didn’t count on in ‘10 was the TEA ascendancy, and ‘12 was Ted Cruz being elected.

The gope-STAB fix was in with zero in ‘11, when we became ‘teabaggers’.

Much schadenfreude that the Chamber of Commerce will learn what’s really in the bill they couldn’t read this tax season when the LIVers see the empire seizing their tax refunds.

Gonna harvest a whole bunch of newly-minted conservatives then. Their ears and eyes will be wide open very soon, and you will see what pitchforks, tars, feathers looks like in the 21st Century.
