Maybe the judge should go all King Solomon with this case, and bring in a machine that will rip that book into two pieces at the press of a red button. Here comes a buzzsaw to do the same thing to that medal. My guess is the more mature minded, conservative leaning cousin will stop the destruction of these items and just give up ownership.

This tug of war over artifacts has been going on for over twenty years. Somebody may be getting physical as the next step.
It’s a shame, but not surprising when there is money still to be made from the legend of MLK.

I remember that MLK donated some of his “work” (papers he wrote) to Boston University, the school that still awarded him a PhD, in spite of his plagiarism...

At least one of MLK’s offspring, probably the ne’er-do-well III, sued the school to get the stuff back.

I think BU won in court.
