A bipartisan group of six senators — including Senator Marco Rubio (R., Fla.), the Gang of Eight member mulling a run for president — released the first bipartisan immigration bill of the new Congress, in the form of legislation to expand high-tech visas and green cards for immigrants.
“Our bill is a commonsense, bipartisan approach to help ensure that those who have come here to be educated in high-tech fields are able to stay with their families and contribute to the economy and our society,” said Senate Finance Committee chairman Orrin Hatch (R., Utah), who headed up the effort. “I’m calling on everyone — the president, members of both parties, and stakeholders in the tech community – to support this bill and help make it the first step towards real immigration reform.”

Tech workers need a union. Sorry if that is sacrilegious but look how the “Establishment” screws with people that don’t have political connections. I don’t mind competing with my fellow Americans but when you import slaves from foreign countries then you cross the line.

In saying that, if we are going to be butt raped, at least make the first item in the bill a border fence and that no other part of the bill will be implemented until the fence is completed.

Both political parties are just DETERMINED to sell us out at every opportunity they get. It started with lower end factory jobs, and now they’ve moved heavily into the higher end jobs.
Combine that with their destruction of the healthcare system, and all of the jobs that will be eventually eliminated there, just about everyone will be on ‘Food Stamps’.
What in the hell is their goal here? I guess they don’t really have a long term goal. Just get rich now, and leave the declined country as a problem for someone else to deal with, as they’ll be retired and sitting on a beach somewhere...
As much as I despise unions, I can see the need for some kind of protection from our own employment laws and lawmakers.

Don’t fall for that. That’s the latest iteration of the Treason Lobby’s strategy of appearing to do something while really rewarding foreign nationals with amnesty.
“Bipartisan” has become a big “red flag” word for me.
Unions joined the treason lobby’s push for amnesty years ago. More workers to represent and they don’t give a damn if they are Americans. American blue collars are being sold down the river by almost everyone.
