(Note: I'm not for elevating politicians - even ones I agree with - to any kind of über-hero status. That's nothing but disastrous. But Cruz sure is putting his butt on the line for our Constitution, and hence so shall I.)
Completely agree with you. I don’t do hero-worship, either. But I believe Cruz is a good, decent, courageous man, and a solid conservative.
