What we also normalize when we accept same sex marriage is the notion that children are not part of the marriage union. What this can be forced toward is the notion that children do not belong to their parents as a natural consequence of marriage. There will come a day when it is argued that children belong where the state assigns them. That is the natural consequence of unmarried parenthood and the natural consequence of parenthood being disconnected from a marriage contract. If marriage does not inherently represent responsibility for children for one couple, then marriage cannot be argued as the contract automatically connecting children to a different couple.

There will need to be some other authority legally binding your children to you. The state’s assignment of them to you.

“A church dominated by homosexuals and child molesters is hardly in a position to advocate for families that consist of a father and a mother. It’s like a bootlegger advocating sobriety.”

could it not be similar to a penitent alcoholic who recognizes his problems and preaches of his new found wisdom and intolerance for alcohol, wishing that others may not suffer the same fate from a similar affliction?

And this has long been a goal of the totalitarian left.

There are no “bans” on counterfeit marriage.

No one is indwelt by God until they accept Jesus Christ as their personal savior. You cannot be homosexual and Christian. You cannot be moslem as Christian. Both these ideologies are anti-Christ.

(Please note that it is possible to struggle with same sex attraction and yet be Christian. But when you define yourself by your sexual activity, you are then rejecting Christ)

The soiled sheets thing is incredibly nasty. Why didn’t the filthy queers take care of the sheets themselves?

We have allowed MAYBE 2% of the population to run roughshod over the other 98%.

It's not just the 2%. The growing crowd of heteros who favor "rights" for homos are just as ugly.

We need a counter attack not just against the homos, but against their hetero enablers, too.

Let me add a fourth item:

Homos and islamists are too insecure to let anyone leave their respective groups.

They build figuratutive Berlin Walls to prevent their members from escaping.

Yes, Robert Lopez and these others are courageous. I gather from the article that Robert is a homosexual, which would be no surprise, given his upbringing.

But like the homosexual Republican in San Diego who lost to Filner in the mayoral race, Robert will suffer for refusing to carry water for the homogenda.

Your life experience sounds similar to mine. However , I did have strong male influences during my ‘growing up’.

I had strong male influences, but they were often the wrong kind. My mother did very well to shelter my brother and me from the excesses.

I don’t believe the polls, but public schools have done their damage.

Here is a link to Robert Lopez’s excellent commentary on American Thinker. I never miss reading what he has to say. He lived the gay lifestyle as a teen and young man, but gave it all up. He describes himself as a bisexual (due to his past) who is married to a woman and has children.... and worse yet to the Gay/Leftie activists, he is a conservative.
