Although most of us worry about other things, climate scientists have become increasingly worried about the survival of civilization. For example, Lonnie Thompson, who received the U.S. National Medal of Science in 2010, said that virtually all climatologists "are now convinced that global warming poses a clear and present danger to civilization."
Informed journalists share this concern. The climate crisis "threatens the survival of our civilization," said Pulitzer Prize-winner Ross Gelbspan. Mark Hertsgaard agrees, saying that the continuation of global warming "would create planetary conditions all but certain to end civilization as we know it."
These scientists and journalists, moreover, are worried not only about the distant future but about the condition of the planet for their own children and grandchildren.
What can be done then? Given the failure of political leaders to deal with the CO2 problem, it is now too late to prevent terrible developments.
But it may -- just may -- be possible to keep global warming from bringing about the destruction of civilization. To have a chance, we must do everything possible to "keep climate close to the Holocene range" -- which means, mobilize the whole world to replace dirty energy with clean as soon as possible.

If we were to allege to “admit” that The Sky Has Fallen! where would that leave these jerks?
That is to say if we declare that the environmental END is inevitable, and there is no way of escape..how could the enviro nazis continue to clamor for more controls?

Can anyone spot the oxymoron?
1. The Middle Ages Maximum was a time of flourishing life and crops. The temperature was about 2 degrees warmer then today. Vikings were farming in Greenland. Their answer to this fact is that, “There was no Middle Ages Warming Period. That is a lie.
2. The arctic and antiartic are melting. That is a lie.
3. Temperatures is falling for the last 15 years despite the fact that CO2 is rising, even they admit this is true. However, they say the excess heat is hiding in the oceans. I do not know what type of physics and thermodynamic modeling they are using but I assure it it does not work this way. They are lying.
4. Crop yields are now at a historic high due to increased CO2 levels. They do not lie about this but simply refuse to talk about it.
The Global Warmists are like watermelons. They are green on the outside and SOCIALIST, MARXIST, COMMUNIST RED on the inside. The leaders are hard left political groups. Most of their followers are simply fools.
Once again, the temps are TEN FRACKING DEGREES BELOW NORMAL for the month, JUST LIKE LAST YEAR.
So, instead of the average temp being 14 degrees, it's been 4 degrees. That means BELOW ZERO, night after night after night after night. My newly-planted banana trees are taking a beating....
And speaking of beatings, wonder if there's a pay-per-view of guys beating the crap out of "climate scientists"...?
The normal state of Planet Earth for the past couple of 100 thousand years, is for Chicago to be buried under a mile of ice. That is what should worry scientists. It is called reality.

You know, if these guys were actually telling the truth, why couldn’t people just step back from the coastline, or move north, and somehow adapt/relocate like plants, animals and humans have always done? Are they afraid humans are too stoopid to go to higher ground when the water covers their feet?

I was talking to a cabbie in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory recently and he told me he had a large greenhouse and he installed an exhaust system from his house to the greenhouse to increase CO2 so his plants would grow faster.

You can watch Global Warming fraud happening in Real Time, using only an accurate thermometer and you smart phone.
Simply locate an accurate thermometer in an appropriate location, out of direct sunlight and away from any obvious sorces of heat, like black pavement, a chimney or air conditioning condensing unit.
Then open the weather app on your smart phone and compare it to the temperature on your thermometer. Chances are, the temperature on your phone will be 2-3 degrees F higher than the temperature on your thermometer. This will be true, day after day.
Then, as you go about your daily business, every time you see a thermometer, check the temperature of that location on your smart phone against the thermometer. You will see that the smart phone is again, 2-3 degrees F higher, in location after location.
The number on your smart phone is coming from an official weather station in your area, and this is the data used to “confirm” that global warming is happening. This data is wrong. It is consistently biased high.
The fraud is happening at the very lowest level. People are happy to tell the Nobel Lie, like “Hands up. Don’t Shoot” or “Religion of Peace”.

If the global-warming computer models had any validity, they could be set to the conditions of 1915 and a 100-year “forecast” would match the actual historical record for the years from 1915 to 2015.
If these “scientists” could do that, they would be trumpeting it from the rooftops.
The fact that they haven’t done it means they can’t do it, and that their “forecasts” of the next 100 years are utterly bogus.
That's fine except for the minor detail that Ross Gelbspan has not actually "won the Pulitzer Prize":
