Cats are meant to be indoor/outdoor animals anyway.My cat-only vet disagrees with you. Too many diseases/dangers out there for them. Outdoor cats live much shorter lives than indoor cats.

Too many diseases/dangers out there for HUMANS too. Its best if we never leave the house either.
