They must be visiting a most unusual place because during our travels, we see only CNN or other stations on the hotel TV. Last week my husband had an eye surgery and the office where the surgery was done had banned FOXNEWS and all soap operas. However NBC was being proudly displayed and no one was watching. I had my book and my smart phone so I was able to pass the time in the waiting room and, also, get the news I trust. FOXNEWS is maligned because they are so popular and they do give the liberals their say. The smart phone is my answer to avoiding whatever is on TV away from home. And, when I need the surgery that my husband just had, I will not be going to that Dr., no matter how good they say he is.
Publish Dave and Sue Weber’s address.
I would not know having not been a member 70 years ago. Colloquially you might be right, officially you are in error as the most recent progression from “Young Men’s Christian Association” to the “YMCA” to simply the “Y” is rather new. I am not fond of the citation.. but am not one to shoot the messenger, rather to only validate the message: http://www.nytimes.com/2010/07/12/us/12Y.html?_r=0
“Young Mens Christian Association to the YMCA to simply the Y is rather new”
When I was a kid ages ago, we called it the “Y”. If anyone told us to go the YMCA we would have said ‘the what?’ Only after I was older did I know what the letters stood for.
They should tell them that their policy is to just show what is the highest ranked news channel - so it is determined by viewing habits, not opinion :) Hahahahaha!
I also like the “left leaning MSNBC”. LOL! How about “radical-extremist-anti-American-communist network”??
” officially you are in error as the most recent progression from Young Mens Christian Association to the YMCA to simply the Y is rather new.”
A review of historic photos of their buildings shows that YMCA was most commonly used on the outside.

FREEP THIS POLL ***PING!*** FRmail me if you want to be added or removed from the Fearless Poll-Freeping Freepers Ping list. (multiple votes using multiple internetz devices are allowed!) And be sure to ping me to any polls that need Freepin', if I miss them. (looks like a medium volume list) (gordongekko909, founder of the pinglist, stays on the list until his ghost signs up for the list)
I changed the channel once while waiting for my wife - one of the other patients thanked me :)
“Fox is the RINO network.”
Please explain.
CNN is the Democrat network, MSNBC is the Green Party Network and Fox is the RINO network — or perhaps more accurately, the GOP-E network.
Our little airport at Idaho Falls, ID actually has FOX News on in the boarding area. Probably the only airport in the world that doesn’t have CNN.
My guess is that a Major part of CNN’s ratings come from counting people in airport boarding areas.
4out of 12 sceens were showing FOX. What were the othe 8 screens showing?
Was Ann Coulter the guest? I’ve heard her say things like that before just to (1) prove what a ridiculous voting bloc that group is, and (2) tweak whiny-@$$ liberals — which seems to be working. BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
“four out of the 12 in the cardio room......
So why the bitch? That’s only 1/3 of the total amount. If they REALLY want to be fair minded, it should be 50/50.
Liberal bastards at work again.
“...Fox is the RINO network...”
Because...?
Actually, back in the day of putting one in the town square in public stocks, there wasn't room for much lettering. Each had their crime listed above them. For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge. Abbreviated, natch.

It’s Ann Arbor, the SanFransSicko of Michigan. Surprising it’s close.
