Thanks to whiners moving out of the city to the countryside, raising a large number of hogs outdoors is now a no-no.

And now they whine about large hog confinement operations down the road because they might smell them one day a month.

I will say in Indiana this has changed a lot. Family sized hog farms are pretty much gone replaced by ginormous production operations.

The average # hogs on one location has gone from 900 to 9000 since the early 90s.
That’s a LOT of manure in one place.
