Eat the rich

Eat the poor

Eat dirt, that's what it's for.

Back in 1966-67, I used to listen to free Grateful Dead concerts in Golden Gate park.

Was that the good ole days or what?

US debt – beyond the "official" $18 (not 8) trillion – is > $46 trillion. It's mathematically impossible to repay.

“....where Chavez moved directly after landing in Moscow from Algiers.”

I think you must have meant Maduro. If Chavez is there, it would be a real trick!

Slumberger of Houston announced they’re laying off 9,000. Haliburton is laying off, too.

A motel in Bryan, Texas said their business if off 50% and dropping.

Why invest in Venezuela now? It is a sure loser.

Better to wait until the country goes completely belly up and pick up the prize pieces for pennies on the dollar. Putin and the Chinese know this and are playing a waiting game.

At least the cab drivers will pay less for gas.

In Venezuela, the prices are likely to be going up soon with the reduction/elimination of the gasoline subsidies.

Exactly. Investing now is giving capital to be confiscated before the final fall.

“If the next president has a different idea, can he/she reverse all this Cuba BS, and just go back to the way it was? “

Maybe. But I think Obama’s idea is to have all the progressive horses escape from the barn in a way that will make it too hard to put them back. We haven’t heard the last of this.
