Sad that LifeSiteNews is taking this tact. Bret Baier and Gary Sinise act on principle. We are not getting the full story.
Or it could be they are more concerned about (in sinese’s case) supporting the troops, and the homo issue may not be as important to him as that to deal with the kickback. Being in showbiz I am sure with all the homosexuals at various levels, he could very well rather not stir things up if he doesn’t have to.
Just looks weak and capitulating, though.
Good points and agreed. I have been in the biz, too.
BTW it was funny. I never hid who I was. While most objected to my views, they universally wanted me on their side. And to a certain extent, they wanted my approval.
Hollywood is one wierd azz place.
PS Stayed in touch with a few of them. Those few have come around.
I am sure your good personality and regular friendliness probably made a huge difference. Some people can be overbearing no matter what side they’re on. I mean people here argue with others and half the time they are on the same side. Huge turnoff.
freedom of speech dies to the heckler’s veto
Captain Dan - you have legs!
WHERE the HELL has all the MEN gone???? Other than some Military guys, MOST have lost ALL their BALLS! They can’t stand up to a bunch of HOMOSEXUALS???? OMG!! they should be ASHAMED.
They’re free to pull out, but I feel it is unfortunate that the gay activists have here essentially succeeded in their effort to delegitimize the expression of orthodox Catholic teaching on sex and sexuality. That is exactly the aim of gay activists all across the culture these days, and it is working. And nobody it seems, including many bishops, are willing to stand up for Catholic teaching.
If I was asked to share the story of my son’s heart problems and how God worked in my life I sure wouldn’t let a gay group stop me from telling it. You’re right. It’s sad.
fascism by any other name would be as dictatorial.
“Fair, balanced, and unafraid”, eh, Bret?
>> backing out
The necessity of sodomy.
It’s the fear of political correctness — nothing else.
Ball-Less, that’s what they are!
Criticism and humiliation top the list of things people generally fear (with or without “balls.”)
Castigation is primarily driven by the MSM — the same MSM that is the Country’s greatest threat.
I hope I’m making sense...
Hypothetical - would the Church demand they not speak at a satirical, blaspheming newspaper?
Answer: no
Free speech is universal. Yeah.
Fox News has been drifting into the Country Club for awhile now.
Maybe it’s time for Legatus to stop inviting these silly entertainers to speak at its events.
