It seems to me that Scott Walker might be the candidate who has the best chance of being accepted by both the conservatives and the moderates of the Republican Party. From what I have seen, Scott Walker is conservative but isn’t as strident as Ted Cruz so he isn’t quite as offensive to the moderates.

That is how it’s coming down for me. He is solid on pro life. I read that he supported open carry. Hopefully his position on the 2nd Amendment is solid.

A good thing about Walker is his relative “obscurity” for lack of a better word. Too many are already over exposed and have a weighty list of negatives from the get go.

They have to tailor a campaign to first neutralize their negatives.

I will bet that 99% of Republicans (and a lot of FReepers) could not identify him in a lineup. I could not - but, there again, I do not watch TV.
