No. Like so many things “religious” it is both much simpler and much more complex. i.e. it depends on the circumstances. Mocking for the sake of mocking is pointless. But the 1 Kings example I used was something different.

What I would have them do unto me is steer me to Christianity and show me the errors in my current faith if I were not already a Christian.
