Never been in the military, but from all I have read about this plane, it has to be one of the most effective they have for support of ground troops. Something just doesn’t smell right about retiring it.

they have to find "something", the F-35 could do, even badly.
Congress is "always lining" their pockets. American Armed
service personnel being sacrificed, for Congressional bribes.
The A-10 Warthog, Is a very effective combat aircraft..and
that's why it's being killed.
