Passengers are facing severe disruption after the Channel Tunnel was closed "until further notice" following a fire on a lorry.
Eurostar says all its services today have been cancelled and trains are returning to their original stations.
Kent Police said the fire happened at the French end of the tunnel and is being dealt with by the French authorities.
There were no reported injuries, a police spokesman said.

I recall some guy claiming that ROTC kids brainstormed this kind of stuff back in the ‘70s in a game of “how to take NYC if you’re a terrorist” thing.

Ferry profits (and Dramamine sales) are up on both sides of the Channel as travelers have to cross the old fashioned way. January isn’t the ideal time of year.

I read a few weeks ago that there are Hobo type MUSLIM CAMPS on the French side of the Chunnel.......wonder if they had anything to do with this.

Strange, you'd think after 2 previous events, those vehicles being transported (as opposed to driven over) would be minutely inspected before being allowed to be carried across.
I think I'd take a ferry. The possibilities for koranimal mischief are just too tempting, in the current "politically correct" world.
When the rest of the world, finally sees this phony religion for what it is, I expect ubiquitous signs worldwide "No muslims Permitted to use these facilities."
