He killed men who needed killing but, struggled to not kill others and some there was no choice.

Living with those choices and finding little support or understanding outside the warrior community. In reality how can we ever truly understand what going through that does to a person if we didn't live it. I know enough to know I will never fully appreciate their courage.

I don't want to say too much and ruin the film for others, but man it was so much more than just a war film. I kept thinking about what his father said to him as a boy about the "3" types of people in the world.

Amen. There were so many great points made in the movie by the main character and his father’s advice stood out. I also appreciated Kyle’s leadership. Seriously, no American can be disappointed with this movie’s message and lessons.
