I thought this was an interesting line:

"The "Anti-Maidan — Armenia" group responded to last week's demonstrations by calling the protesters "Nazis" — the same term that Moscow's politicians and state-run media had used to refer to the opposition in Ukraine."

Good morning.

It amazes me how wars are started. From the smallest affront to a grave geopolitical action, there seems to be no rhyme or reason (except hate of course).

Opinions are welcomed.

There is no end to ethnic conflicts. I recall my Mother telling me about saving her pennies for the “poor starving Armenians”. Of course the aggressor then was Turkey or rather, the Ottomans.

Armenia has been around a lot longer than Muscovy.

"Russian Activists Ask Putin to Send Troops Into Armenia"

Sending Russian troops into America would mean war!

No, not AMERICA, ARMENIA.

Armenia? Oh, never mind....

Online activists have leapt to the defense of a Russian soldier who has reportedly confessed to killing six members of an Armenian family, calling on President Vladimir Putin to "send in the troops" to protect all Russian-speakers in the Transcaucasian country.

How is this different than online activists in America coming to the defense of US soldiers accused of crimes in other countries?

Does the United States routinely hand over American servicemen accused of crimes....and why on earth would conservatives support such a policy?

Of course we do. We have for decades. We do it because we do the same thing here. Foreign nationals who happen to be members of their respective militaries who commit crimes on US soil are tried by American courts.

Three soldiers accused of rape and murder in Yusufiyah, Iraq in 2006 were court martialed, three others who had left the military before charges were filed were tried in civilian court in...Kentucky.

So I’m not clear on exactly what you meant when you said “of course we do”.

Here is what you need to consider.

"The "Anti-Maidan — Armenia" group responded to last week's demonstrations by calling the protesters "Nazis" — the same term that Moscow's politicians and state-run media had used to refer to the opposition in Ukraine."

That's the MOSCOW Times outsmarting you, truck. They know it's all a put up job.

Why are there Russian troops in Armenia? What war are the Russians fighting there? Is there any chance that Russian soldier, who is being revered in Russia for his massacre of an innocent family, will be punished by Russia for what he did?

Heck, the Putinistas will give the guy a medal for killing an innocent family. They’re proud of the ones who’ve gone into Ukraine who are doing the same thing to a nation. We’ve even dolts on here who applaud these thugs and goons as defenders of Western Civilization, which apparently means that when a former KGB man declares himself above the law the Putinistas are cool with it.

He’s like the Leftist that throws our American support back in our face as if we think it’s an insult to support the USA.
