Tell me about it. I thought I had bought the perfect house. My bedroom window backs up to an ordinarily quiet street, except on Sundays, “Hog Riders” use it as a short cut to the local canyon road, that is a popular ride.

Like it or not, I am up every Sunday morning before 7:00am

We live in a neighborhood that is bordered by a Main Street. Our backyard faces it even though we are 2 houses away from it. You can hear the hum of traffic from our backyard but what we can really hear are sirens and Harley’s. Lol

Some people, including some here, think it part of their freedom to make just as much noise as they like with their vehicles. Personally, I tend to think that expecting people to keep their vehicles’ noise level to a reasonable level is not too much to ask.
