The race for the Republican nomination has started. It is vital that Republicans nominate a conservative leader who will use Republican political strength to implement a peaceful, lawful, but revolutionary change in the way Washington does business.
Establishment Republicans like Jeb Bush and Mitt Romney do not see the need for radical change and do not have the rhetorical skills to make the case for such change. Moreover, RINO nominees have proven electoral poison in presidential elections. Scott Walker offers the best chance to win the general election and then to use a Republican Congress to transform American government.

——do not have the rhetorical skills——
I am not aware of Walker rhetorical skill.
Walker has fought the fight and has numerous wounds. He is a victor in serious political wars.
All the super conservatives that have elevated opinions of them selves should look at walker and see that they are not really up to the task. He has real battle scars.
This isnt about what looks good on paper.
This person is going to have to take on the national/international leftist media machine. And despite his wins in Wisconsin (impressive as that is), he is going to have to demonstrate a forceful tenacity and drive that I’ve yet to see in any of his speeches so far, and a dogged defense of the constitution and conservative principals that isn’t just nice polite talk.
He has the battle scars and the ability to make necessary compromises that advance the conservative cause, instead of being concealed surrenders.
Might make a great VP pick.
You want fire & brimstone rhetoric that will play right into the hands of the media and liberals. It does not matter who we nominate, the left will call them radical and out of touch.
Walker's style is calm leadership with no grand speeches while tirelessly enacting the conservative agenda.
We don't need speeches....we need leaders who will get things done.
It is hard to oppose Walker because he is so inoffensive.
As much as I'd love to see someone eviscerate the left publicly, it is not the way you can win and govern today. Obama does this and his party keeps losing while his popularity declines.
We have been TEA Party since its early days. Sen. Cruz is our first choice, of course, but realistically, we know he could only become a candidate by an act of God. However, we could support Scott Walker as a second choice, whereas we will never vote for a GOPe moderate again.
Walker is not afraid of fighting the left. He’s won three elections in four years. That’s two items in his favor!
1. Walker has been thoroughly vetted, by the left. There is nothing new that they can drag out. He cannot be Cain-ed.
2. He won Wisconsin three times. If he can win Wisconsin, he can win Michigan, Ohio, Virginia, Colorado, Nevada and Florida.
3. He is a solid conservative. More of a Coolidge conservative than a Reagan conservative. Quiet action. Fiscally responsible
That’s why Walker is my solid second choice, right behind Ted Cruz.
This is who I would like to see nominated.
Is Bruce Walker related to Scott Walker?
If anyone is running a Walker Ping List, please add me to it!
“Walker’s style is calm leadership with no grand speeches while tirelessly enacting the conservative agenda.”
Yeah and if this was 1920, then that would be all you need.
But it isn’t. Stop being naive. That’s how the right keeps loosing. We try to be folksy and “ignore” the other side, and then wonder what the hell happened when the left rips into us and wins.
You want to win in 2016, you had better embrace “grand speeches” or else you are going to get drowned out by the leftist media machine.
“You want fire & brimstone rhetoric that will play right into the hands of the media and liberals”
A forceful defense of the constitution and liberty isnt anything to play into anyone’s hands. If Walker wants to hide that, so he doesn’t upset the left, then he doesn’t need to be running.
Stealth conservatism isnt going to cut it in 16.
I would rather have a WALKER then a TALKER.
Oh, get real - any conservative candidate will play into the hands of the media and the leftists. It’s who they are - and, haven’t we had enough of grand speeches? Obummer made grand speeches and he is the worst “president’ we’ve ever had. We need someone who can roll up their sleeves and try to straighten this country out - if it can be done.
“Oh, get real - any conservative candidate will play into the hands of the media and the leftists.”
Yeah? And the stupid ones will get trounced when they attack. Having an “aw shucks” quiet demeanor is not a plus in 2016. That person had better be ready to fight and push back. When a lefty moderator at a debate starts assisting the Democrat, they are going need to stomp it down immediately on stage. Not give some goofy grin like the people at home are just going to “get it” that they are being biased.
“...and, havent we had enough of grand speeches?”
No. we’ve had enough of the ones from the left telling us how terrible we are, and how we need more government to take care of us.
On’t know, but I’d not be surprised; however, it doesn’t matter as far as I’m concerned, since the article is so dead on right.
American Thinker makes the Case for Scott Walker.
