Because they care if we follow their protocol and decorum.

We don’t care if they follow ours. That is the distinction.

The difference is if Obama met the Queen of England and started spouting off Ebonics, she would likely walk out of the room.

Well yeah... the Swiss know that if any Saud decides to cash their check, the Swiss BANK bounces.

Speaking of which, the Swiss are having some problems lately.. should Saud decide to keep oil pegged to the USD, and divest their money into non-Commie banks.. the Swiss go back to making watches and knives.

“Valar Morghulis”

Sounds like something from J R R Tolkien .

The parallels are interesting....

“Good is ALWAYS a relative term. Saudi royal family is better than ISIS. Lets hope it stays in their hands”

The problem with the Saudis is that they helped to create the fundamentalist branch of Islam that is destroying their region and radicalizing their religion.

They never intended to create the current situation, but they’re responsible for it just the same. The House of Saud has protected and promoted the Wahhabist sect for centuries now. Initially used an alliance with the Wahhabis to consolidate their power in Arabia and they have kept up their end of the bargain ever since. They’ve promoted that peculiar brand of fundamentalism globally for the last century or so, and it’s been bearing fruit for the last few decades. On the one hand they fight extremism as ruthlessly as anyone, on the other hand they’re building mosques globally which are used to spread the messages of many of the same men who are provoking attacks on them and the west. The regime’s behavior is senseless.

Abdullah was Pro-America and actually fought against extremists. He was one of the good guys.

No, he was pro-new world order.

He was a "good guy" to them.

If you define America as the American people, new world order is not pro-America.

But make no mistake, new world order is the master of America.

I have to say, the al-Sauds look pretty elegant, compared to Bill Gates.

Here is some of the video that was released in Iran.

IIRC, the original was over 1 hour long, this runs about 28 min. BTW,I did find the original, but it is not translated.

A gown - whatever your cultural term - for a man or a woman gives control over one’s bodily presentation in a way other garments can’t. I’m an admirer of a man in an elegant suit, but he looks best when standing, not sitting ... and especially not sitting on a “Shoot, my knees are up to my chin!” Arabian divan.

I suspect the Saudis get a chuckle out of it.
